I'm Charlie Tyler, a sailor who picked up a camera to keep proof of it. Sailing, coastline, wildlife and the odd mountain — mostly shot on the way to somewhere else.

Semi-professional photographer. Fully committed sailor.
I picked up a camera to record the places sailing was taking me, and it became the other half of the hobby. Self-taught, mostly outdoors, always chasing whatever the weather is doing to the light.
It started as a 52-week project — a new photo or film every week for a year — and never really stopped. The journal below is what came of it.
