Last Sunday was the Cervantes Trophy with RORC over to Le Havre, I was aboard Phosphorous in which we came second in IRC 1. A fantastic result seeing as only 3 out of the 8 crew had sailed on her before!
On the way back I jumped aboard Hooligan 7 as Phosphorous was heading up to Ramsgate for the North Sea Race. Hooligan 7 is a Ker 40, some more info can be found here at Hooligan Racing . We had gorgeous champagne sailing conditions back from France to the Solent, close reaching the whole way pushing up against 10 knots. With the bright blue sky, calm sea and a quick boat I couldn’t help to grab some footage.
